HOTEL BY THE OLD MILL
The concept design of a four-star hotel located by the old historical mill in France. The hotel has been designed in the rectangular layout in which three wings contain guestrooms, a restaurant, a lounge bar, a conference and a service area and other facilities whereas the fourth wing is the glass “arcade-footbridge” corridor placed on the level of the first floor. This bridge connects the new part of building with the existing old mill. The heart of the hotel is the old, historical mill with the main entrance zone on the ground floor and exclusive apartments above. The special structural frames have been designed on the account of hotel location on the river (using the existing island) the guestrooms have been placed on the first floor with the exception of the adjacent building which has been connected to the mill on the ground floor level. The hotel complex has got a modern form which contrasts with the traditional historical architecture of the old mill.
