APARTMENT V IN CRACOW
The interior of the 105m2 apartment in an old town house in the Old Town of Cracow. The design of the open-plan area including kitchen, dining, and living zones has been inspired by the arrangement of the inner walls and construction supports. The part of the construction devised to hide some of the supporting elements frames the dining table and, at the same time, separates the kitchen area from the communication zone. The white-and-black colouring with addition of gilt stone tiles and wood give the interior the aura of elegance and lightness. However, the bathroom and the toilet differ in style due to the black Nero Africa stone panels and the blend of coloured tiles of Petra. The whole of the interior is still minimalistic and modern reflecting the urban art deco spirit.
