APARTMENT IV IN CRACOW
The interior of the 160m2 apartment in an old town house in the Old Town of Cracow. To create a new functional open-plan area with a sense of spaciousness it was necessary to remove many of the inner walls. Thus, in the daily zone, the boundaries between the kitchen, the living room featuring a fireplace, and the airy hallway featuring the toilet, are blurred. The sleeping zone, however, due to its location on the same side as the building annex, is protected against the urban noises from the outside. This functional interior arrangement enables the owners to enjoy their rich social life on the one hand and relax in isolation on the other. The modern and minimalistic elegance of the overall style-line enhanced by the use of natural materials highlights the grandeur of the old town house and emphasizes its splendid location.
