APARTMENT III IN CRACOW
The interior of the 150m2 apartment in an old town house in the Old Town of Cracow. The sense of tradition and spaciousness characteristic of flats in old tenement houses has been preserved here due to the particular colouring and wall-panelling. Although modern and minimalistic in character, the brown and beige hues together with naturally-looking veneer and stone surfaces do not interrupt the feel of authenticity. The new design has resulted in an open-plan living area and an isolated sleeping zone. The huge living room with the adjacent open-plan kitchen featuring a dining table is a perfect solution for feasting and socializing. The dominant element of this area is a sizable fireplace which opens on its three sides. Located in the living room but still in sight from the kitchen and the dining part, the fireplace remains the heart of this homely environment.
