CERSAIE 2012 BOLOGNA

From 25 to 29.09 International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings CERSAIE 2012 was held in Bologne. 170 000 m2 of exhibition space with over 1000 top companies from the ceramics industry from 30 countries.

Just to mention a few – LA FABBRICA & AVA, EIFFEL CERAMICHE, APE CERAMICHE, CARMEN CERAMIC ART, ERGON, CIFRE GROUP, ZIGUR ART, EMIL CERAMICA (imitation of a variety of stones in one set of tiles,  fossil wood tiles), GRAZIA, MUTINA (new collection of Azulej -Patricia Urquiola), PROVENZA (very natural looking, wood or tree rings like tiles), GLASS (cut to size shower tubs, bathtubs  in string baskets), EFFEGIBI, FANTINI, HORUS (handmade taps), LASA IDEA, GLASS DESIGN (elegant glass sinks), FAP CERAMICHE, FLAVIKER (Urban Concept series), CAESAR, COTTO D’ESTE, CERDOMUS, ALFA LUX (collection with Swarovski’s crystals), DEVON & DEVON, GENTRY HOME, ANTONIO LUPI, FLAMINIA, NORKEN, BISAZZA, SICIS, PETRA ANTIQUA. Visiting the fair is always a great opportunity to follow the leading trends in the interior design and to search for inspirations. Highly recommended. This year main themes were the return to the nature and classical grandeur of colours and textures. Also a search for the technology to get tiles slimmer while bigger in sizes and  for seamless assembly is still noticeable .
